Constable Care Foundation was delighted to welcome the Hon Reece Whitby MLA, Minister for Police; Road Safety; Tourism; Great Southern, to visit and take a tour of the Safety School today.
Meeting with Constable Care Foundation Board Chairperson Susan Fleming, CEO Ian Anstee, Arts & Education Manager Matt Stewart, and Ethics Program Coordinator Dr Kaz Bland, Minister Whitby was accompanied on his visit with Member for Maylands Mr Dan Bull MLA and Carolyn Monaghan. Together, they toured our campus and discussed the important work the Foundation does to keep children and young people across Western Australia safe.
During the visit, Mr Anstee shared updates on a range of projects across the Foundation’s services as WA’s leading youth safety education provider, including Constable Care, Youth Choices, and Safety School programs, as well as our broader program offering. On behalf of the Foundation, Ms Fleming and Mr Anstee warmly thanked Minister Whitby and the Western Australian Government for their continued support of our social and safety education programs, enabling us to deliver meaningful initiatives in crime prevention and harm reduction that positively impact the lives of children and young people, as well as their schools and communities across the state.
It was a pleasure to host Minister Whitby, Mr Bull, and Ms Monaghan on their visit, and we look forward to our continued collaboration, working closely with the Western Australian Government as we build and expand our programs, strengthening our purpose of empowering children and young people through theatre-in-education programs and community services that raise awareness, influence attitudes, and ultimately, change behaviours, creating safer and better communities in WA.
