Act Up (ages 5-8) explores all aspects of performing through theatre-based activities. Your child’s creative spark is sure to ignite as they write, produce, and direct, a piece of theatre, premiered on the last afternoon for family and fellow Imagineers. Whether it is acting, dancing, making music or props, your child will find their place in the show, exploring the collaborative magic of storytelling. In addition to these activities, Imagineers will be challenged by important questions such as,
“What is music?”
“Can anybody be an actor?”
“What is the difference between acting and real life?”
“Between music and noise?”
“Between dance and jumping around?”
Culminating in a performance for parents and fellow Imagineers at 3pm on Thursday 21st January, this program is a must-do for anyone who loves to play, create, and explore the world.
