No Offence – Cultural Diversity and Anti Racism

No Offence explores how people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds experience racism, bullying and microaggressions, both accidental and explicit, in different situations.

Through the feature film and a follow up interactive discussion, students will examine diverse perspectives in their community and develop their own empathy and appreciation of cultural diversity in their communities. Our engaging sessions help youth understand discrimination and celebrate cultural differences.

Why choose our Youth Choices programs

In the high-pressure world of secondary school, traditional ‘instruction’ rarely leads to behavioural change. Our Youth Choices suite uses ‘Forum Theatre’ – an evidence-based methodology where students become active participants in the narrative. By allowing teens to stop the action and trial different solutions to issues like consent, substance use, and mental health, we provide a rehearsal space for life. This ‘theatre of the oppressed’ style engagement is proven to increase retention and empower students to find their own voice.

We don’t shy away from the hard conversations. Our programs are developed in consultation with subject matter experts and Western Australian youth to ensure the scenarios reflect the actual lived experiences of today’s teenagers. Choosing Youth Choices means providing your school with a high-impact, peer-led experience that challenges prejudices, builds emotional intelligence, and equips young adults with the ethical framework to navigate adulthood safely.
