David has been CEO since 2011, leading the Foundation through the most significant period of innovation and change in its history. David’s 30+ years in NGO management in Victoria and Western Australia span the disability, health, aged care, arts and community sectors and include senior executive roles with VisAbility, Guide Dogs WA, Alzheimer’s Australia and Christian Blind Mission International. He is a graduate and post-graduate of Curtin University and RMIT University, a member and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and serves as the WA Proctor for Mensa Australia.
In 2021, David was named a 2021 Influential Leader by AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) recognising his extensive executive career in the non-profit sector.
