Ian Anstee

Ian joined Constable Care Foundation in 2023 as a respected voice in the area of mental health in children and young people, as well as bringing a wealth of experience in leading and managing not for profit organisations in the UK and Australia. Ian was part of the expert advisory group for the Ministerial Enquiry into Mental Health for Infants, Children and Young People, served on the development board for the proposed Bunbury Mental Health Club, and is a current board member of the Bunbury Mental Health Consortium and South-West Suicide Prevention Network.

At the Foundation, Ian enjoys the unique way the organisation delivers safety and social education to children and young people through the engaging use of theatre, film, and performing arts. He sees the health and wellbeing of the youth in our communities with great importance, as well as the enrichment and enjoyment of their lives. In his role as CEO, Ian is passionate about the continued delivery of Constable Care and Youth Choices programs in Western Australia, and strives to work alongside stakeholders and communities to build and nurture relationships that facilitate the ongoing growth and nourishment of child safety education.
