    • School Holiday Programs

    With a life-size bike track and our augmented-reality safety quiz, children will have a great morning out and may even learn a thing or two about road safety! Our programs take place at the Safety School, where we engage students in discussions about road safety and involve them in activities. School holiday sessions run from 9.30am – 12.00pm or 1:30pm – 4:00pm on selected dates. Please note that the Safety School is available for birthday hire, however our School Holiday Sessions are not designed for these types of events and cannot accommodate birthday groups. If you are interested in booking the Safety School for a birthday event, please contact us.

    Our holiday program includes the following road safety education experiences:

    • 9.30am – Safety School doors open
    • 10:00am – Road Safety presentation
    • 10:30am – Children are free to ride and explore indoor and outdoor activities
    • 12:30pm – Session concludes

    or

    • 1:30pm – Safety School doors open
    • 2:00pm – Road Safety presentation
    • 2:30pm – Children are free to ride and explore indoor and outdoor activities
    • 4:00pm – Session concludes

    Tickets are just $17.50 per child, and accompanying adults are free! A parent or guardian must remain with the child at all times.

    • clothes suitable for riding bikes
    • wear weather appropriate clothing
    • long hair tied low to allow for helmets to be worn
    • a snack if desired.

    All equipment including bikes and helmets are provided. You are welcome to bring your own bike and/or helmet if you wish.

    Please note: the Constable Care Safety School is an outdoor environment with no cafe facilities.

    Getting here

    The Constable Care Safety School is located at 48 Sixth Avenue in Maylands. It is easily accessible via train, bus or car. We encourage you to consider using public transport.

    Maylands Station is just 600 metres away. The walk is easy with pedestrian access via Whatley Crescent, Sixth Avenue and the pedestrian overpass on Guildford Road. Please refer to Google maps for location and directions.

    Bus stops are located on Guildford Rd just 30 metres from the Safety School entrance. Take Transperth bus routes 41, 48 and 55.

    The car park is accessible from Peninsula Road (see map below). Please be cautious as this carpark is in the vicinity of a vacation care centre and there may be children around.

    The Safety School Activities are available for School Holiday Session bookings on Mon-Fri from 9:30am – 12:00pm or 1:30pm – 4:00pm during the Perth WA school holidays.

    Lower Primary School Incursions

    Bring safety to life with our engaging puppet theatre performances, specifically designed for younger audiences. Through storytelling and interactive play, we introduce foundational safety concepts in a way that is fun, memorable, and age-appropriate for early learners.

    Basic First Aid
