Dale is a John Curtin Distinguished Professor at Curtin University. He is currently Chair of the Academic Board at Curtin as well as Professor of Taxation Law in the Curtin Law School. Dale has accumulated over 30 years of professional, commercial, educational and governance experience across government, NFP and regulatory sectors, as well as professional law and accounting bodies and educational institutions. He has considerable board, finance, and audit experience across many sectors including not-for-profit associations, and has a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Sydney and a PhD in Law from the University of Melbourne.
Professor Pinto was elected as the President and Chair of CPA Australia in 2023 after being appointed to the Board in 2018 and serving as the Deputy President from 2020. Prior to his appointment to the Board, he served as President of the WA branch of CPA Australia.
