Overview

Constable Care Foundation values ethical and best practice research and theory-based evaluation.

In order to achieve outcomes that drive positive change, the Foundation embeds rigorous research, theory-based and reflective evaluation in all its services and programs.

Using the internationally recognised Forum Theatre approach, our theatre-in-education programs empower students to identify practical solutions to safety and social issues. Performance scenarios are used to explore and trial responses, strategies and solutions. Over 40 years of research on Forum Theatre shows this approach results in positive behavioural changes in participants.

Constable Care Foundation supports internal research and evaluation and those conducted externally in partnership with universities and other research organisations.

Tertiary qualified evaluation professionals evaluate all Foundation programs using a range of tools including:

  • Pre and post participant surveys,
  • Surveys and interviews with lead educators of participant groups,
  • Audience feedback surveys, and
  • Randomised control trials.

Constable Care Foundation programs have proven beneficial outcomes and are often used as case studies in universities.
