Examing bullying and aggressive behaviours with LGBTQI+ students


Standing Out examines bullying and aggression, especially in regards to LGBTQI+ students.

Everyone else seems to know exactly who they are – so confident in their identities. But Jez isn’t so sure. There is a part of him that he doesn’t feel comfortable acknowledging – even to his family and best friends.

Using interactive Forum Theatre, students are encouraged to examine the impact of bullying on youth mental health, explore how they can be supportive to their peers and celebrate diversity.

Topic: Bullying in regards to LGBTQI+ students

Running Time: 90 minutes including student interactive participation.
