Importance of First Aid in Schools
Teaching first aid in schools helps students to prepare to handle emergencies with confidence. By learning basic first aid skills, children can recognise and respond to medical situations, potentially saving lives. Imagine a classroom where kids feel empowered to act calmly and knowledgeably when accidents or illnesses occur. These skills build confidence and create a safer environment for everyone. Integrating first aid into the school curriculum ensures that our children grow up with the essential tools to help others in times of need.

Through engaging activities and scenarios, students learn vital skills such as how to assess a situation using DRSABC (Danger, Response, Send for help, Airway, Breathing, and CPR) and the proper steps to call an ambulance.
