Jim Bell is the Deputy Director General (Student Achievement) at the Western Australian Department of Education, leading the integration of teaching practice with workforce strategy and support services to strengthen support for teaching and learning excellence, and enable the best possible outcomes for every student.
Jim brings over 25 years of experience in education across a number of teaching and leadership positions to his role on Constable Care Foundation’s Board. Previously, he was a Director of Public School Review, an Assistant Director in the South Metropolitan region, and Executive Director (Strategy and Policy). Jim’s extensive education experience is additionally complemented by commercial experience in a large multi-national space where he managed Aboriginal employment strategies, leadership development programs, and the business development portfolio.
