Congratulations to Constable Care Foundation Board Member, John Curtin Distinguished Professor Dale Pinto, who has recently been elected as President and Chair of CPA Australia for 12 months, commencing 1 October 2023. CPA Australia is the nation’s largest accounting body, with close to 170 000 members across 100 countries, and Mr Pinto served as President of the WA branch before being appointed to the board in October 2018, serving as Deputy President since October 2020. He describes his new appointment as a great privilege and advised that he is humbled and deeply honoured to be elected into this position.

Professor Pinto also sat on the Tax Practitioners Board for three years and chaired the Tax Institute’s national education equality assurance board for a decade.

Professor Pinto joined Constable Care Foundation’s Board in 2023, with over 30 years of professional, commercial, educational and governance experience across government, NFP and regulatory sectors, as well as professional law and accounting bodies and educational institutions. He brings considerable board, finance, and audit experience across many sectors including not-for-profit associations, and approaches his contribution to the Foundation with passion and enthusiasm.
