Kaz joined Constable Care Foundation after several years as a Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Western Australia. She completed her PhD in Philosophy in 2019 and brings a lifetime of experience to her philosophical practice. Alongside the development of her academic career, Kaz has created a strong and vibrant philosophy in community practice, most notably as co-director of active discovery and inquiry program, Eurekamp Oz.
Kaz’s approach to her role as School Ethics Program Coordinator is led by the Community of Philosophical Inquiry methodology, encouraging participants to think creatively, carefully, and critically about BIG ideas. She strongly believes that age, ability, culture or creed is not a barrier to collaborative thinking – thinking together about difficult, often polarising, real world problems is key to creating cohesive communities.
