‘Silenced’ focuses on mental and physical abuse witnessed in a domestic environment. The protagonist watches as her parent’s relationship crumbles. She finds herself stuck in the middle of a suddenly violent household, and feels forced to silence herself from reaching out for help. Some of the issues Silenced touches on include: toxic relationships, family conflicts, domestic violence and child neglect.
